What I Learned From: Vogue December 2012

1. Les Mis: Anne Hathaway is on the cover of this issue for her starring role in the movie Les Mis which will be released in theaters on Christmas day. To be honest, when I first heard that Les Mis was coming to the big screen it didn’t seem overly appealing, but after seeing all the stars in it and seeing the previews I can’t wait to see it! I’m predicting that it’s going to be the next big award winning movie.

2. Tis the Season to be Bright: I’m pretty sure every fashion rule has been broken this winter; first white, then pastels and now bright colors!  From statement necklaces to colored jeans, dresses to bright purses, color is everywhere you look!  Personally I love all the color, I think it makes things more cheerful!

Michael Kors “Hamilton” in Peony, Old Navy Rockstar Skinny Jeans in Red Dot, Guess Double Collar Coat in Cobalt, Purple Bubble Bib Necklace from Etsy

3. The Best New Documentary: In Anna Wintour’s Letter from the Editor, she talks about an HBO documentary called In Vogue: The Editor’s Eye. This documentary airs December 6th and depicts all the work the editor’s have to do  behind the scenes at Vogue in order for the magazine to be perfect for us to read every month!  If you are like me and can’t wait to watch it, check out the Netflix documentary The September Issue to hold you over!

Love Always,

Amy Elizabeth
