For those of you who don’t know, Diane Von Furstenberg is one of the biggest names in fashion. Not only is she an amazing, world renown designer, she is also the President of CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America). First of all, this quote makes me feel a little better knowing that she didn’t always know what she wanted to do. The thing I love most about this quote though is that it makes a great point; the type of person you are is more important than your job title. While this semester I may not have gotten any closer to my career, I have definitely grown as a person and am transforming into the kind of woman I want to be and in the grand scheme of things, I guess that is more important. If you’re still trying to figure out what to do when you “grow up”, today think about what kind of person you want to be. If you’re already “grown up” think about if you are the person you want to be, because if not it’s never too late to change!
