H&M: Long Live Fashion

In this month’s issue of Vouge, I was intrigued by an article called ‘Style Ethicss’.  H&M has started doing their part to help the environment with their Garment Collecting Initiative.  Their slogan is, “Don’t let fashion go to waste” and their goal is to stop clothing from ending up in landfills.  If you bring in your old clothes (whether they are torn, ruined or just out of style) to select H&M stores, they will give you a voucher to use towards your next purchase.  They then send this clothing to plants where they are turned into raw materials to be re-used.  I think this is a fantastic idea and hope that more stores will start programs like theirs!

Love Always,

Amy Elizabeth
