Quote of the Day: Footprints

This quote means so much more to me right now than ever before; one of my best friends, Kristin, decided this week that her and her wonderful husband are moving back home. Not going to lie, I took forever writing this because after about every sentence I typed I was on the verge of tears. Kristin moved here in October, but in the few short months I’ve known her she has made such a tremendous impact on my life. She has shown me what God’s love looks like and how to follow him with everything that you have. I have never had a friendship that was so deeply rooted in Christ; she has constantly encouraged me and listened to all my problems no matter how dumb or insignificant. Kristin is also to blame when it comes to introducing me to my new favorite Starbucks drinks as well as French Press Coffee. A Chinese proverb says an invisible red string connects those destined to meet, despite the time, the place, the circumstances; the thread can be tightened or tangled, but can never be broken. I know that God gave me a friend like Kristin when he did for a reason and for that I am forever thankful!
